Slough Windsor and Maidenhead Activities
This branch currently subsidises the following activities Participants have to be members of the Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead Branch.
These classes run every Monday and Friday, all year, from 14.45-16.00 – and outside when the weather permits! (excluding the 2nd Monday of the month, when the class follows the Branch meeting at 15.45) £5 a class
The class includes balance and posture work to lively music, yoga/pilates moves, relaxation and breathing awareness. The classes are run by Tara who has over 10 years’ experience working with people with Parkinson’s in the Maidenhead area.
These sessions are also led by Tara, every Friday from 14.00-14.45 before the yoga class. A relaxed, but active, sporty social hour of fun - table tennis, basketball, badminton etc.

T’ai Chi for Health
A gentle form of exercise in sitting or standing that promotes health and relaxation and integrates the body and mind. It involves slow, flowing movements that can be adapted to every level of ability. This is led by Sally Martin an experienced Neuro- Physiotherapist
The class takes place every Thursday from 12.00-12.45 (term time) at the Stoke Poges Village Centre, 129 Rogers Lane, SL2 4LP £4 for branch members

This is led by a Neuro-Physiotherapist assisted by a Physio Support Worker
The classes are held in the Hydrotherapy pool (lovely warm water!) at Wexham Park Hospital. The course consists of 4 lessons and costs £25 (new rate) for the course. The class is on Tuesdays 17.00-18.00 (when it’s much easier to park!) and consists of supervised exercises in a small group of 5/6

Monday Evening Exercise Class
This class of neuropathic exercises constructed to combat issues with mobility, balance and/or motor coordination is led by Laura Redman, a level 3 personal trainer.
This class has been a successful addition to our activities and is an opportunity to exercise your mind and body in a fun, social environment.
It is held at 7.00pm at SportsAble (details as before). £5 per session

Carers’ Coffee morning Second Mondays of the month 10.00-12.00
If you are a carer, supporter, relative or friend of someone who has Parkinson’s you may like to join others once a month for a couple of hours. We meet at the Dorney Court Kitchen Garden café, Court Lane, Dorney, SL4 6QP, where there is not only a great selection of teas, coffees, etc but pastries and other temptations!
